INTERLAB of the Kielce University of Technology accredited by PCA (AP 240): calibration of length, angle and roughness
The INTERLAB Advanced Measurement Techniques Laboratory of the Kielce University of Technology (Politechnika Świętokrzyska) was accredited by the Polish Centre for Accreditation (PCA) as a calibration laboratory under No AP 240 on 23 June 2026; the accreditation cycle runs until 22 June 2030. According to GUM, the laboratory operates at the Świętokrzyski Laboratory Campus of the Central Office of Measures in Kielce.
- The scope (issue 1 of 23 June 2026) covers calibration at a permanent location of three measurands: length, angle and length in terms of surface geometry; the location given in the scope is the GUM campus at ul. Wrzosowa 46 in Kielce.
- The calibrated items are laser distance meters and total stations (500 mm to 12 000 mm, CMC uncertainty 0.7 mm and 0.3 mm respectively), internal cylinders (100 mm to 1 000 mm), two-arm 90° squares (up to 1 000 mm, 1.0″), roughness standards of types A, B1, C and D, and magnification standards.
- Roughness standards are calibrated according to PN-EN ISO 5436-1:2002 (type A) and PN-EN ISO 21920-2:2022-06 and PN-EN ISO 21920-3:2022-06 (types B1, C and D); the other items according to the laboratory’s in-house procedures.
- CMC uncertainty is stated as expanded uncertainty at a coverage probability of about 95 %; GUM presents the accreditation as an example of using the research potential of the Świętokrzyski Laboratory Campus.
